If you love your F1 2015 is shaping up to be a galvanising year. To help get you in the mood we’ve put together a rundown of five of the most pulse pumping races set to kick off in the New Year.
F1 Monaco Grand Prix
A countdown of must see Grand Prix races simply wouldn’t be complete without a nod to the classic Circuit de Monaco. The event has been wowing spectators since 1929 and is celebrated as the most prestigious racing event on the planet.
F1 British Grand Prix
While we can’t guarantee sunshine Silverstone is the heart of the British racing scene, for UK residents, its homeland location makes it one of the cheapest ways to catch F1 action. The track has also just undergone an up-to-the-minute makeover which makes the spectator experience more electrifying than ever before. Slash out on one of the nearby hotels or save cash and get your pulse racing by staying in a campsite located just 150 metres from the track. There’s no better wake up alarm than the sound of supercars revving their engines!
F1 Belgian Grand Prix
Fringed by thick green forests the Spa-Franchorchamps offers F1 enthusiasts high speed track action accompanied by spectacular scenery. Rather than towering grandstands and sprawling spaces the historic circuit sees hordes of fans gather on grassy banks to catch all the action. Thanks to cheap flights and accommodation it’s a great budget option for Brits looking for an international F1 event that is still close to home.
Italian Grand Prix
Home to the iconic Ferrari, there’s no better place to soak up the F1 experience than in Italy. The Grand Prix has been taking place in Monza since 1950 and is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most coveted titles. Thanks to an abundance of long straight sections and hair-raising braking points Italian Grand Prix drivers never fail to clock up world records! For those on the search for the ultimate Italian racing experience take a day trip to Ferarri’s original Maranello factory which is just a short drive away from the main track.
F1 Singapore Grand Prix
There’s something about Singapore that gives its F1 night race one of the most exciting atmospheres on the planet. When the sun goes down the track is illuminated with 1,600 light projectors using a huge 3 million watts. With the towering skyscrapers and glittering waters of Marina Bay in the background this is one F1 city circuit not to be missed!
While we can’t predict who’ll be crowed 2015’s F1 champion we can guarantee that every ultra-modern supercar will be covered by a comprehensive insurance policy.
